Corridor Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Template notice. This document is a starting template and not legal advice. Corridor moves money and holds a non-custodial position that has specific regulatory consequences; this text must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor, and the non-custodial analysis confirmed, before it is relied upon. Tech Infrastructure and Technical Services Limited’s company number and registered address should be added once available.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between Tech Infrastructure and Technical Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, which operates BDRelay and its Corridor feature (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and the person using Corridor (“you”). By accepting an invitation to Corridor or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Corridor.

Corridor is a distinct product from BDRelay’s payment-integration service. Where these Terms conflict with BDRelay’s general Terms of Service in relation to Corridor, these Terms govern.

2. What Corridor is, and what it is not

Corridor is software that helps you move your own money to accounts and wallets belonging to you. It provides an interface to create and use a self-custodied digital wallet, to purchase stablecoins from licensed third-party payment providers, and to send those stablecoins to destinations you control.

Corridor is not:

  • a bank, and balances shown in Corridor are not bank deposits;
  • protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or any equivalent deposit-guarantee scheme;
  • a payment service for sending money to other people or to businesses;
  • an investment service, and nothing in Corridor is financial, investment or tax advice;
  • a custodian of your money or your digital assets.

3. Your wallet, your keys, your responsibility

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully.

When you begin using Corridor, a digital wallet is created on your own device using our embedded-wallet provider. The private key to that wallet is generated on your device and is never transmitted to us. Our systems hold no key material and contain no function capable of signing a transaction.

The consequences of this are real and you accept them:

  • We cannot move your funds, whether at your request, in error, or if legally compelled to do so. Every transfer out of your wallet is authorised and signed by you.
  • We cannot recover your funds. If you lose access to your sign-in method and have not saved a copy of your key, your funds are permanently inaccessible — not withheld by us, but genuinely unrecoverable by anyone, including us.
  • We cannot reverse a transfer. Transactions on a public blockchain are final. If you send funds to the wrong address, they cannot be retrieved.

You are solely responsible for saving and protecting a copy of your key, and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Corridor prompts you to export your key and we strongly encourage you to do so. Never share your key with anyone, including anyone claiming to be us. We will never ask you for it.

4. Eligibility and invitations

Corridor is currently offered by invitation only. To use Corridor you must be at least 18 years old, be legally capable of entering into these Terms, be using Corridor for your own personal purposes, and not be subject to sanctions or located in a sanctioned jurisdiction. We may withdraw or decline an invitation at our discretion.

Our payment partners apply their own eligibility rules, which may be narrower than ours, including restrictions on particular territories or regions. We do not control those rules.

5. Self-remittance only

Corridor is for moving your own money between accounts and wallets that belong to you. You must not use Corridor to send funds to, or receive funds on behalf of, any other person or business.

You confirm each time you use Corridor that the destination belongs to you. We may ask you to confirm this, and we may decline or reverse access to the service if we believe it is being used for third-party transfers, but we do not independently verify the ownership of destination accounts. This restriction is a condition of your use of Corridor, and breaching it is a breach of these Terms.

6. Payment partners and identity checks

When you add money, the payment is taken by a licensed third-party payment provider, not by BDRelay. That provider is your counterparty for the payment, sells you the stablecoin, and carries out identity verification (KYC) and anti-money-laundering checks under its own programme and its own terms, which you accept separately with them.

Your card details, bank details and identity documents are provided to that partner directly. They do not pass through Corridor and we never see them. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the resulting on-chain transfer, nothing more.

We are not responsible for a partner’s decisions, including a declined payment, a failed or delayed identity check, or their fees, rates and limits. Any dispute about a payment is between you and that partner, although we will help you where we reasonably can.

7. Limits, screening and review

We apply limits to how much can be moved through Corridor in a single transaction and over rolling periods. These are set individually and are deliberately conservative. Our partners apply their own limits, which may be lower.

We screen destination addresses against published sanctions lists and may decline a transfer on that basis. Where a transaction cannot be reconciled between what a partner reports and what we independently observe on-chain, we hold it for human review rather than displaying it as complete. A balance shown in Corridor reflects what we have independently verified.

Because you hold your own keys, a transfer we decline is a limitation of our interface only. You retain the ability to move your own funds by other means at any time.

8. Risks you accept

  • Stablecoin risk. Corridor uses USD-denominated stablecoins. A stablecoin is not the same as US dollars and its issuer may fail, may be unable to maintain its value, or may freeze particular assets or addresses. Its value is not guaranteed by us or by any government.
  • Network risk. Public blockchains can be congested, can fail, and require a network fee paid in the network’s own currency in order to send funds. You are responsible for holding enough of that currency to make a transfer.
  • Irreversibility. Transfers cannot be undone, cancelled or refunded once made.
  • Regulatory change. Rules governing stablecoins and digital assets are developing and may change how, or whether, Corridor can operate in a given place.
  • Loss of access. As set out in section 3, losing your key and your sign-in means losing your funds permanently.

9. Fees

Our payment partners charge their own fees and exchange-rate spreads, which are shown to you before you confirm a payment. Network fees are payable to the blockchain network, not to us.

Where BDRelay charges its own fee for Corridor, or receives a share of a partner’s fee, we will disclose it clearly before you incur it. We will give you reasonable notice of any change to our fees.

10. Prohibited use

You must not use Corridor:

  • to move funds belonging to anyone other than yourself, or on anyone else’s behalf;
  • for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion or fraud;
  • if you are subject to sanctions, or to move funds to or from a sanctioned person or jurisdiction;
  • to disguise the origin of funds, or to structure transactions to avoid limits or reporting;
  • to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to disrupt the service;
  • in breach of any law that applies to you.

BDRelay’s Acceptable Use Policy also applies to your use of Corridor.

11. Availability, suspension and termination

Corridor is offered on a pilot basis and may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn. We do not guarantee that it will be available at any particular time.

We may suspend or end your access to Corridor, with notice where practicable, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using Corridor at any time.

Ending your access does not affect your funds. Because we never hold them, losing access to Corridor does not deprive you of your money — your wallet and your key remain yours, and you can continue to use them without us.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Corridor is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Corridor will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any transaction will complete within a particular time.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

  • loss of funds resulting from your loss of your key or sign-in credentials;
  • funds sent to an incorrect or unintended address;
  • the acts, omissions, fees, rates, limits or decisions of any payment partner;
  • changes in the value of any stablecoin or digital asset;
  • failures, congestion or forks of a blockchain network;
  • indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue or opportunity.

Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total liability arising out of or in connection with Corridor is limited to the total fees you have paid to BDRelay for Corridor in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim. Before starting court proceedings, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give you reasonable notice and, where it is significant, ask you to agree to the updated Terms before you continue using Corridor. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
