This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are restricted or prohibited when using the BDRelay service. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Because payments are processed through Stripe, you must also comply with the Stripe Restricted Businesses list and the applicable card network rules. If there is a conflict, the more restrictive rule applies.
1. Prohibited businesses and activities
You may not use BDRelay to accept payments for, or otherwise facilitate, any of the following. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive:
- Illegal products or services, or activities that violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Intellectual-property or proprietary-rights infringement, including counterfeit goods;
- Regulated or age-restricted products where you are not properly licensed — including firearms, ammunition, weapons, and certain controlled substances;
- Marijuana, cannabis, and related products where prohibited by applicable law or card networks;
- Adult content and services where restricted by law, card networks, or Stripe;
- Gambling, betting, lotteries, and games of chance where not properly licensed;
- Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, multi-level marketing that is deceptive, and “get rich quick” schemes;
- Unlicensed money transmission, currency exchange, or dealing in stored value;
- Sales of cryptocurrencies or related products where prohibited by Stripe or law;
- Fraudulent, deceptive, unfair, or predatory practices, including misrepresenting the nature of a transaction;
- Sale of personal or financial information, or activities that violate privacy rights;
- Products or services that promote hate, violence, harassment, or discrimination.
2. Prohibited conduct on the Service
- Processing transactions that do not reflect a bona fide sale of your own goods or services;
- Processing payments on behalf of an unrelated third party (“transaction laundering” or “factoring”);
- Submitting false, inaccurate, or misleading information during setup or verification;
- Circumventing fees, transaction limits, or verification requirements;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems;
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Using the Service to transmit malware or to engage in phishing or other deceptive activity.
3. Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this AUP, we may take action including requesting more information, suspending or limiting your access, holding or reversing transactions where permitted, and terminating your use of the Service. Stripe may independently take action under its own agreements. We may also report activity to law enforcement or other authorities where appropriate.

5. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
